Dell Magazines
Dell’s story starts way back in 1931, when Dell Magazines sprang to life as part of Dell Publishing (which had already been around since 1921!). In 1941, Dell launched Dell Pocket Crossword Puzzles — a classic that keeps brains buzzing today. From there, Dell branched out into all kinds of puzzle magazines and books, each with its own flair.
Penny Press
Fast forward to 1973, when puzzle lovers William and Penny Kanter founded Penny Press. Their mission? Create joyful, easy-to-read puzzles that spark smiles and keep readers coming back for more.
